A big thank you to everyone who donated and bought cakes at last Friday's cake bake at Kinver High School.
The environmentalist group at Kinver High, Fridays 4 Future, ran a bake sale to raise funds to improve recycling around the school.
The cakes were wonderful and sold very quickly; we raised Β£106.61. Well done to the students who were involved in arranging and supervising the cake sale, they were brilliant! ... See MoreSee Less
βAt the start of November a number of members of staff here at Kinver High decided to go with the mo, and raise money for the Movember charity by growing a moustache. This organisation focuses on providing charitable donations to fund research, treatment and support for those suffering with prostate and testicular cancer. It also supports organisations to prevent male suicide, and to provide mental health support to men in need, as this problem has grown significantly over the last ten years within society.β
Mr Davies, Mr Fox, Mr Harper, Mr Parry and Mr Roberts all took on the challenge of growing their moustaches over the entirety of November, and have so far raised Β£150 through generous donations to the charity.
We would very much appreciate any further donations via moteam.co/kinver-high?mc=1 to help support such a worthy cause and provide help and support to those who need it. ... See MoreSee Less
My name is Nikki Clifton, proud to be the new headteacher of Kinver High School. I join Kinver High pleased to find a team and community with ambitions that match mine, to create a world class environment for our students to learn. During my headship I aim to lean on not only the experience gained from my 25 years in education, first as a teacher of Modern Foreign Languages and secondly as a School Leader for the past decade; but also, being a parent of three teenagers allows me to perfectly understand the challenges that face our students, parents and carers.
