Last Friday seven of our Year 10 students from Kinver High completed a three day walking expedition in Church Stretton as part of their Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award.
The students walked over The Stiperstones and The Long Mynd in a range of conditions including sun and rain. As part of the expedition, students camped for two nights and cooked all of their own meals.
PE teacher, Mr Parry, said: “Our students performed fantastically well on the expedition and worked superbly as a team. They were a credit to the school and should be proud of their achievements.”
The students were: Lola Meyrick, Dan Wood, Alice Rumble, Mia Thornley, Ellie Mae Goode, Lauren Humphries and Isabelle Taylor.
Well done everyone!
