Some of our Year 9 students enjoyed a lovely day yesterday doing a Humanities activity.
They spent the morning in school planning and preparing for the week. Students participated in some team building and then created a programme for the week incorporating digital maps both modern and historical of the different locations we will visit over the week.
During the afternoon the weather was perfect for a stroll up to Kinver Edge where we were met by Mary and Marion who volunteer for the National Trust. They gave us a detailed tour around the Rock Houses and Kinver Edge and were happy to answer all the students’ great questions about the history and geography of the area. A delightful first day!
