Well done to former Kinver High School student, Niamh Slater, who starred in last week’s performance of ‘Jekyll and Hyde’ at Brierley Hill Civic Hall.
Jekyll and Hyde is a well-documented story featuring the scientist who strived to do good by ridding the world of evil by splitting the ‘bad’ side of a person from its ‘good’. Based on Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic thriller, Jekyll & Hyde is the gripping tale of a brilliant mind gone horrifically awry, set to a powerful pop-rock score by Frank Wildhorn.
Niamh, who has recently started her training at the Birmingham School of Theatre Excellence studying musical theatre, presented an exceptionally professional performance as Dr. Jekyll’s fiancée Emma. A review stated, ‘her voice is certainly one that wouldn’t be out of place on a West End stage. One to watch.’
