Kinver Students gain Tae Kwon Do Black Belt

Congratulations to Kinver students Evie Crooke, Molly McParland and Luis Handley who gained their Tae Kwon Do black belts before half term.

All three students, who attend Unite Tae Kwon Do School, started training from a young age and have all worked very hard to achieve their new belts. Year 10 student Evie successfully achieved her 2nd Dan. Molly and Luis both in Year 8 also successfully achieved their black belts 1st Dan.

Unite Tae Kwon Do chief instructors, Kai and Sarah Wilson, said: “We are extremely proud of everyone who graded. The club welcomed 4 new 1st Dan black belts and 1 new 2nd Dan to its ranks. The hard work and perseverance of all the students paid off and they really earned their new belts”.

Headteacher, Mr Taylor, said: “These are tremendous achievements and testament to the hard work and character of all three students. As a school we are delighted for them and look forward to hearing about their future endeavours.”
