Enrichment

Introduction

Broadening a student’s education through enrichment opportunities is at the heart of school life at Kinver High. Both the academic success and the personal development of our students are of equal importance for students to be “best they can be”.

We recognise that learning extends beyond the classroom and value the critical role that the wider opportunities for enrichment and personal development play in broadening student horizons and raising their aspirations. Our wider curriculum ensures that all students have access to a rich and broad set of experiences to develop their own personal skills such as resilience, confidence and independence and we seek to support all students in discovering new talents and areas outside of the classroom to be involved with. Our enrichment programme gives our learners the tools and opportunity to become confident, resilient outward thinking successful young citizens who seek out, embrace and excel in the opportunities life presents; with thought, consideration and kindness.

We offer an extensive array of different enrichment and leadership opportunities, from clubs, sports and performing arts opportunities to school tripsHouse competitions and frequent occasions to be involved in events that support both our local village and neighbouring community to places further afield such as Gambia. At Kinver, there is something to suit each and every student!
