Kinver Sixth Form’s ALPS Success

All here at Kinver Sixth Form were delighted to discover this week that we had once again been classified as one of the top Sixth Form providers in the country. This year’s ALPS (A-Level Performance System) Report once again classified Kinver’s teaching and learning and our results as a ‘Grade 2’, which equates to an ‘Outstanding’ grade, and places us within the top 5% of Sixth Form providers in the UK for the second year running.

Head of Kinver Sixth Form, Mr Fox, was thrilled with the announcement and remarked “It’s fantastic to see the success of our students result in such a high grading for the second year in a row. Staff and pupils alike worked tremendously hard to achieve such positive progress and results, and getting this highly prestigious accolade is a reward to all for the dedication shown by all parties. Even more pleasingly, this now means that our three-year average also stands at a ‘Grade 2’ overall, which reflects upon the rapid progress we have made as an educational provider at A-level, and proves that students joining Kinver get the very best educational provision around on a consistent basis.”

“With the largest Sixth Form cohort we have had in decades, and the best results within the local area for the second year in a row, we are excited about the future here at Kinver, and we are now looking to push on and achieve an ALPS ‘Grade 1’ which would put us in the top 2% in the UK! Looking at the current students we have on roll in Years 12 and 13, we will all relish the challenge of helping them to achieve the great successes they are all capable of over the next two years, and continuing the great results that students achieve when studying at Kinver Sixth Form.”
