A group of year 7 & 8 students yesterday spent the day at the University of Birmingham for their Christmas Lectures series.
Students took part in interactive lectures delivered by university Professors. The 'Am I an Ape?' lecture allowed students to learn more about about evolution; carrying out some tests such as the Humero-Femoral Index test to see if they were in fact a human or chimp!
We also took part in a lecture all about Viruses and a Psychology lecture where students took part in games on perception and selective attention.
Students were also given the opportunity to ask questions to the Professors.
Our fantastic students not only won best dressed in their festive attire but also were winners for being the best participants in a lecture!
