Safeguarding
Kinver High School is committed to safeguarding our young people and working with wider agencies to support the building of resilient families and communities. Kinver High School is an Operation Encompass school.
Staff receive regular training to strengthen contextualised safeguarding knowledge and cement the guidance in Keeping Children Safe in Education.
The school’s safeguarding offer encompasses a comprehensive Early Help provision via the Provision Pyramid. The school implements interventions that are a part of Earliest Help and Early Help, and in line with Working Together to Safeguard Children, staff share information and support external agencies to improve outcomes for young people and their families. The school’s safeguarding policy can be located via the school website by accessing the ‘policies’ section under ‘statutory information’.
