Kinver High School Parent Association - February Newsletter
Updated: Mar 3
Thank you to everyone who came to the postponed Christmas event – A Winter Showcase. With ticket sales we raised just under £1,500 for the school funds. You were all so generous with your raffle ticket purchase and refreshment spends! Every penny goes directly back to your children. Our spending pledge this year is funding the enrichment programmes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays after school.
If you have not signed up to the weekly school lottery yet – please do. It’s a small pool at the moment so a good time to join in terms of your odds – we could do with growing the jackpot though so the more really is the merrier! Some very nice winners donate it back into the pot – the choice of course is yours - but you have to be IN IT TO WIN IT!
Easter Hamper Raffle
Our next fundraiser is to raffle off several chocolate hampers that we will produce from donated chocolate for the upcoming mufti day. In return for students wearing their own clothes on FRIDAY 10TH MARCH we ask for chocolate or Easter themed gifts for hampers. Dairy free for our lactose intolerant and vegans will be greatly appreciated too, as will spare ribbon, cellophane or bows.
Tickets will go on sale shortly and all prizes will be ready for collection before the school breaks up for Easter.
We are a small group – all volunteers – and all with busy lives. If anyone can spare time to support, in anyway: help serving drinks; manning stalls on events; stuffing sweet bags or prepping other delights ahead of time; or would like to attend our meetings…. your time and effort would be so appreciated.
